Some of the stuff in this pack is rather unpolished, but overall it's all good.

Suggestions:

-Dynamic goo balls
-Confetti gun (like DB101 said, it would be pretty cool. you know, the colorful paper shreddings?)
-Fireworks launcher
-Shockwave gun
-Compressed dirt gun

Er, which and what should be done about it?

1. Dynamic in what way?
2. I know what confetti is, I want to know why you'd want one. Just a colorful sprayer?
3. There's like ten different mods with one, what do you want me to do with it they didn't?
4. ... that does what exactly?
5. Kinda what I was going with with the goo sprayer, what would you want it to do differently?

confetti like what snow does, it flies into the air, stops, and floats down.

The Storm bolter is NOT a good idea, and you've done it wrong anyway. Bolters are basically rapidfire grenade launchers. They start with enough speed to punch through any armour, or straight into the middle of a crowd of weak people, and then blow them up. So instead of making it based on speed, make it based on rapid-fire, with tiny explosions.

Well I haven't played Warhammer 40k, but the description of how the bolters work seems out of sync with the description of them in action. They're supposed to be sort of mini-rockets fired with "just enough force to get them out of the barrel", that only explode when they get up to speed. But, for some reason they're supposed to have a ridiculous rate of fire (doesn't make much sense if they have such a low initial velocity), and punch through things instead of exploding... at low speeds. And anyway, I like how this works- a powerful but inaccurate long range only weapon.

@Flammable: Chill, he doesn't have to make 100% accurately canon bolters if he doesn't want to. If you're going on about canon complain about how the storm bolter's barrels are horizontally lined up. Another option is to calm down.

@Solace: What are you planning now?

Well I've got a couple themed mods going so I can hop between them as inspiration strikes... just now I did the (probably final) update of the Midas mod, and next I'm gonna work on a proper update to the Solace Inc. Supernatural Wing so I can give it it's own thread.

I love the goo gun. It reminds me a lot of the hot drop from Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. I've been trying to mod a craft to emulate it. My first try was with a rocket and I tried replacing the flame emitters with a goo emitter but if I don't adjust the velocity of the goo it falls along side the rocket, and if I turn up its velocity it doesn't settle before the rocket lands. I'm gonna try next with adding an emitter to the drop crate and if that doesn't work, try shooting the goo pellets from the rocket instead of fully inflated goo.

Well, I know the staff of a W40k shop, and a man name Chris assures me that the Bolter is a grenade launcher on steroids and caffeine.

In case you need a reference for how they work and what they do/how they do it.

We really don't care, he's made the storm bolter as he likes it and will keep it as he likes it, because he can be as non-canon as he likes...

I haven't played warhammer, but I've seen this description several times, and that's what I made it like.

Warhammer40k Wiki wrote:
A bolt is self-propelled; It features its own integrated solid propellant which propels the bolt at high speeds, essentially acting like a miniature rocket.

Well, it's a mini rocket, so I got that.

Warhammer40k Wiki wrote:
As well as the rocket propellant, a tiny amount of conventional charge is also utilized. This charge is just strong enough to force the bolt out of the barrel and ignite the bolt's propellant. The bolt then accelerates away towards the target under its own power.

= the bolt fires at low velocity and then accelerates, which I have.

Warhammer40k Wiki wrote:
Sickle Magazine: The standard-issue magazine, seen on most bolter patterns. The magazine's shape is slightly curved to take up less space. Carries 20 to 30 bolts.

Mine has 40 because it's a heavy duty version, but overall I'm being generous there, not stingy. Storm Bolters are supposed to be fed from a belt but we can't give backpacks to CC actors; and even then the belt would have 60-150 shots (30-75 if shooting at twice speed).

Last, the source I used said Bolters where smoothbore and the mini-rockets where used for not just acceleration but to create stabilizing spin, which I take to mean they'd be fairly inaccurate until they got up to speed, which again is something I did.

My only complaint is your storm bolter is a bit TOO innaccurate, the lower shot just hits the ground and the higher shot just goes where ever you didn't point it.
