That depends on you. Usually most modders seem to wait for three or four new devices, mildly modded actors, or bombs, or one or two majorly modded actors or dropships.

Are you trying to make a sword/gun combo?

It was originally gonna be a sword that pulled you around (air control so you can actually get some close combat going), but since it tended to kill you with the stuff it pulled forward, I crossed it with a shield and now it's an energy drill. :lol: I've also got a full shield with the same "technology" that only defends and is one handed. Figure I'm gonna update after I finish the current "batch" in my head, a rather unique grenade launcher and a few unaffiliated grenades.

Hmm... maybe to make it unique make it almost like a spear attack?

Have it shoot you really far really fast, but a short clipsize, evening it out.

It'd be like... (forgive me, it's the only example in my head right now) the lock-on Halo 3 sword.

That... pretty much describes it, actually. It was originally gonna be the halo 2 elite sword, but with the spray back I had to change it. I've got it now at a five second clip and the fastest speed you can sometimes survive. :P

Make it as useless against terrain as possible, this is supposed to be a weapon, not a digger.

Jesus Christ you remind me of me. I made a shield back in build 14 that was pretty much this without the thrust attack. Also it reflected ♥♥♥♥ everything.

I can't believe I actually contributed to a thread twice, though. I'm going to lose my reputation as a spammer who never helps anyone now.

Those things look really cool! Personnally, I think you should update when you've got at least three new things. That way, people can comment on those things and you can make sure that they're the best you can make them before moving on to something else.

Updated! Added the Midas' scroll, Force Drill, and Force Shield.

I'd intended to make a few more things, but for some reason the game isn't reading any further in the Index.ini and until I figure out why I can't really do more. >.>;

I like the new force stuff, but I don't get how the shield works. What's the point of generating some sort of force field if it doesn't do anything? The drill is nice though. But don't call it a drill because you can't dig with it unless you want to never walk again. I like how it pulls stuff towards itself, but I think the blade should be longer. As for the Midas' scroll... well it's useful, but not a coding prowess I believe. Still, nice job.

BTW, are you gonna make a Midas Actor?

i liked how you can suffocate and kill things with gold. good idea. after seeing the gold gun and gold grenade, i half expected a shield made of gold for you to hide behind when your in trouble. good mod.

I /think/ the effect blocks bullets (I know the mag does), although unfortunately the wounds seem to be attributed to the gun even after they're replaced. Also it does have some force to push away projectiles that are effected by things (my gold gun is, but I think most aren't).

Yeah, I wanted the scroll to make pick-uppable grenades, but couldn't figure out how. Still, after seeing the AI stumble through a minefield... I figured it was funny enough to warrent entry. :lol:

Well, not yet at least... actors seem tougher to make. I do have sort of general plans along those lines, but... not for a few updates, minimum. (Midas' Servant, though, not Midas himself. He's dead I think. :P)

- I'd be happy to make a gold shield, but... what exactly would it do, besides be very very heavy?
