Re: Diemos Federation
Ah whatever, the mod itself is pretty small. Uploaded as an attachment.

Re: Diemos Federation
Beautiful sprites, they're absolutely awesome. As said before, the minigun has awful sounds, and I have to put in that the lifetime on the bullets it too high, it's dangerous on grasslands!! give this a custom jetpack and you have yourself a quality mod. Nice work.
(nicely Balanced too, I actually got hurt!!)

Re: Diemos Federation
My bad about the link loss, DMKS2. We had to make some changes that forced me to dump the database.
Apologies for anyone who was inconvenienced.

Re: Diemos Federation
Some update, heavy weapons. Pretty much lets you fight some of the factions. Love the rocket launcher.

Re: Diemos Federation
Looks Cool! [EDIT]
Looks like master chief. the guns have a nice green to them that makes them good to use with standard clones. COMENSE CRUSHING OF SKELES!

Re: Diemos Federation
Huh, where'd this come from suddenly?
I really like the feel of the mod ALOT. The high velocity weapons make it really fearsome faction and really cool looking overall. <3 Rifle and the Zooka. Not too fond of the minigun sound though. I first though my speakers will explode when I fired it for the first time. This faction is really worth playing.

Re: Diemos Federation
I have a problem with mine for some reason. I like the sprites and everything, the guns are pretty sweet as well. But when I use the RPG launcher, for some reason CC crashes. I've runned some pretty long explosions and everything on my computer, but once I reload to the second RPG round and shoot, the whole game closes out. I shoot, nothing happens on the first round, second round and bam, thing closes out. Is it my computer or is it the mod?

Re: Diemos Federation
Awesome mod, i hope these guys can become more than just a mini mod. Maybe they could become the main enemies of the dstech.

Re: Diemos Federation
I'm considering making a lower version of a DSTech robot for this side. An extreme contrast between the regular DieFed Soldier, yet still vastly inferior to the original.
Story idea: The Diemos Federation, while expanding its borders beyond the star system, found peculiar remains of a robot, all its markings have been eroded by time. It was on a desolate airless planet, and there were no other signs of other technology nearby. Its remains were extracted and taken back to Diemos.
Upon examination, its brain area empty, no sign of any computers, all the robot was, was a shell. The metal was extremely strong, the Diemos Federation scientists could not replicate the metal. The robot's internals and physical structure became the base of the Diemos Cybernetics/Robotics program.
From there, all Diemos soldiers went though mandatory brain copying before battle. These false brains are put into the Diemos robots, carrying the experiences of the original, however they do not gain any new experience. In the rare cases, the brain of a critically wounded or mortally wounded soldier takes the place of the false brain. The now cyborg soldiers are promoted to a high ranking status and given intensive training. The Diemos robot/cyborg shells are equipped with regular external metal shells.

I like the idea of giving the Diemos a DSTech bot. Reverse engineering ftw.
