Activities to enjoy. No special ones though, just endless waves of whatever you choose. I don't know sh!te about lua, although I did figure out how to properly merge lua scripts now, which is a big thing for me, really. If I did I could make some original activities. I'll have to wait for the next CC update to hopefully fix those fire mode change problems. Right now it works perfectly if there's one gun on the field which can change fire modes, but as soon as there are two you sometimes get a copy of that other gun in your inventory when changing. (Your own gun is removed.) If you then change another couple of times chances are you'll get your old gun back. Sorry, Mehman, I know you gave a nice lua script to change magazines, but I really need one that changes the entire gun.

You could use the AEmitter method so you wouldn't have to do the multi weapon thing. Although that would be borderline complete re-hash and a pain so I can see why your trying to steer away from it. Also I am curious why no one seems to be talking advantage of the custom pie menu codes. Mods like this seem the perfect opportunity to do so. Is it laziness? Hasn't caught on yet? Is it broken? I have noticed the vanilla grapple gun doesn't work with its pie menu options. Maybe It's just my copy. I have noticed different bugs and different computers I have CC installed on. But I digress. EDIT: It also appears cricket updated the template. Says it works like a dream and is bug free. Maybe that would help?

Hi Snow, Weren't you the creator of those lovely lizards? (Any chance of an update? *puppy eyes*) Yeah, as far as I know the pie menu thing is broken and data is working on a quick fix to fix that. I think that's the general rumour anyway. CaveCricket informed me of his updated scripts, I will get to it immediately.

As a fatter of mact I am the lizard maker. Hopefully B25 will get me interested enough in making more stuff and updating old stuff. So far the outlook looks good. Just getting back into modding and trying to freshen up. Hopefully I can get some help this time around too. Might put of a dev thread here soon. Glad to see the mod working again! I love Unitec! Just some quick C&C... The stinger sprite seems kinda hashed out. Ive seen your sprites and the stinger doesn't do you justice, nor does it really look much like a stinger IMO

True, I didn't completely follow a real stinger's design. Would that one be prefered? Edit: Updated lua files. Overwrite the lua folder in UniTec.rte\Devices and it'll make guns stay in your hands after you switch to alternate fire mode. Again, huuuuge thanks to CaveCricket. I'll update the mod later. Think I'll put in a request for some more (machine) pistols. Try JA2 1.13 AIMNAS if you need some inspiration. Small, cheap, automatic, fast firing, inaccurate at range.

@Snow: Can do. I'll make it into a proper stinger then and use the current one for a specific unitec version, shooting multiple tiny homing missiles or something. I am also thinking about splitting SHIELD and UniTec up into separate mods. Would love to hear what others think. @Slax: I wouldn't dare I'm afraid. So many bullet weapons already in my mod.

Shoplist_secondhand.png Sort of an add-on for a cheaper, less reliable arsenal? (80s SMGs, odd war prototypes, a million billion handguns...) Easily toggled like everything else, of course. Yes, I'm reaching, but I love it when UniTec expands.

Now that you mention it the currant stinger sprite does look like a unitec style weapon.
My 2 cents: if it shot 2 or 3 mini stinger bullets it would be pretty cool. Make it full auto too. Popping off one after the other. Or the magazine could be a huge drum on the back of the actor and it has a payload of 50 missiles or something. Rain homing hell from a vantage point. That might be a tad unbalanced though.
Also I think shield and uni work well together. I have just always assumed they went hand in hand because of some space contract or what have you.

Well, hope you like your Stinger. I'll create two separate .inis which people can use to only load UniTec stuff or SHIELD stuff. But they can already personalize this mod through presets.ini I guess. Oh well, unless there are any things I overlooked or there are bugs, back to hybernation mode. *ZZZzzzzz* @Slax: I love JA2 1.13 and it has been a great resource for me, but to create every gun from that game would mean adding hundreds of guns. I'll just preserve my (and UniTec users') sanity by not doing that. "But just this one gun then?"Well, there has to be a stop at some point. Unless it's a special kind of weapon I won't make it fit into this already bursting pack. Edit: This would be a grand opportunity to start your own mod however. *hint hint*
