Maybe like the Soviet hero from C&C Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge?

Personally, I'd go with a combination of the two ideas: Ray-cast for laser-style instant-hit, but then spawn wounding particles at the striking point. Also, what's a tri-laser?

Tri-Laser, TRIPLE L.A.S.E.R. ARRAY!!! If you look at the drone sketch, it has a triple barreled gatling gun, geti mistook it for a triple laser array. It'd be interesting if it did pair with a mortar turret, the amount of potential destruction would be hilarious.

Okay, I was afraid somebody was suggesting a laser Gatling gun. Three lasers that are just mounted together is A-OK.

Wouldn't a rotating assembly with multiple slots containing focusing lenses reduce wear and tear on said lenses?

If lenses got any wear and tear from redirecting light So far I don't know if they do that. I would suspect not, since we use them in a variety of applications without replacing them to the best of my knowledge.

Lasers are hot. The light outside isn't, within reasonable limits. Even if they don't suffer visible changes, the efficiency will still be affected. Err, yeah, you know what I mean, even though I didn't express it too well.

The lenses will melt, and the laser will turn into a spray. Spray Laser. Hmm.

Hyperkultra wrote: Spray Laser. Hmm. Would probably be useless actually. It would be like turning a stream of water into a spray. Larger radius of effect, but less forceful overall. I suppose you could make a case for rotating the lenses, but you could also make a case for cryo-cooled lenses. I don't know if light works like electricity in how electricity passing though colder transmission medium generates less "friction", but if it did then that would be a consideration.

Re: [WIP] DSTech Corp (UPDATED: 5/22/09)
This has always been one of my favorite mods, and I'm glad you are continuing work on it. However, I have some C&C for you: - The Judgement Gun is WAY too overpowered. A second of shooting destroys the tutorial. - The Gatling Guns and some other bullet firing guns have too much recoil. They can push a Ronin into the dust. - As some other people have said, the bunker modules are way too busy, particularly the neon blue and orange parts. In the background especially, these could be made darker. - The Plagiarus Dropship often spins out of control without having been shot at; I don't know why. - The turrets and drone hive are way too hard to destroy. In skirmish mode, only one is needed to create an invincible bunker. I hope this helps you improve this already awesome mod.

Tis why the thing costs about 10,000oz.

-Its called Judgement, its huge, has a generator strapped to its back... What do you expect out of a weapon designed as a city destroyer? -Does this apply when you're using DSTech units as well? -Reworking bunker mods, busy with school work at the moment, somewhat low priority. -Made Plagiarus Abductor's movement lua based, no more screwy movement! -Reworking base defenses. school work! To say it: Finished respriting the Oculus series. Working on a sort of Earth Spike, not gonna bother going on details, as this is a test idea.
