 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
1000 downloads total, thanks everyone Anyone have some fun activities they've made? Anyone even made any? Here's a quick vanilla one I made.

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
I have a minor suggestion: Have a way to toggle different ways to disable a mod. For example, the other mod manager (the one with the brain w/ red cross icon) turns off mods by taking away the .rte extension on the mod folders. Can you make this mod manager do the same and toggle to its current method?

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
Yeah, sure, that sounds doable (though why it would be better, I really can't think of a reason, except for some kind of pseudo-grouping).

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
Maybe have it replace ".rte" with " (Disabled)" too?

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
That way it's reverse compatible with the old mod manager.

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
I'm having difficulty with the server never responding to requests for the downloads. If someone provided a mirror to any/all that would be awesome.

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
Sorry, my server got shut down for the day. Should be back now. (I really don't like file uploading sites)

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
Thanks, that was appreciated. For posterity, if this happens again I recommend hosting via Dropbox. It's a simple hosting method, with a really easy up/down-load. Here are the files as of January 28th, hosted there. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/814625/CCMM-Jan28.zip

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
This is really great. I'm able to give myself a million dollers then go against a dummy, ronin or coalition onslaught in any skirmish map I want. really lets you customize the game your way.
I seem to have accidentally deleted the default skirmish waves settings without saving it though, could someone post/tell me what it was so i can reconstruct it?
Also, I tried adding my GODDAMN mod to the manager without success. I typed into notepad:
Modname = GODDAMN
Actor = Gundam Actor
Weapon = Weapons
Ship = Dropship
...And named it 'MMItems_GODDAMN' and saved it as a .txt file in the 'Cortex Command Mod Manager' folder. When I opened up the mod manager, went to skirmish waves, right clicked on 'all waves ()', selected 'add to' and looked in the box on the right under transport, there was no GODDAMN dropship. Thinking maybe that the box doesn't change, I selected ACDropship as a catagory and wrote 'GODDAMN/Dropship' as a type and press ok. I put a few things in it and ran CC. It didn't load, and came up with this error:
Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 531, beacause: Refferring to an intance ('GODDAMN/Dropship') to copy from that hasn't enn defined! in Missions.rte/Skirmish Activities.ini at line 19! The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'
The last two lines of the loading screen box says:
Index.ini on line 6 includes: Skirmish activities.ini on line 1
Then it comes up wth the error.
If someone can tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it, please do. And if you need more infomation to help, don't be afraid to ask.
Even without my own mods, I know I'll have fun with this manager! (And it'll save loading time and buy menu time too!)
EDIT: I put the notepad file into GODDAMN.rte, then added the Totaliun into 'all waves ()' in mod manager, changing 'dropship' to 'totaliun' (catagory: ACDropship, Type: Totaliun) and ran CC. The exact same error came up, except instead of "Refferring to an intance ('GODDAMN/Dropship')...", It was "Refferring to an intance ('GODDAMN/Totaliun')...". What did I do now?

 Re: Cortex Command Mod Manager / Activities Manager
Here are the vanilla waves, in .ini and .ccmm format.
(Someone should enable .ccmm for file uploads)
Pyro, I really couldn't say what's wrong with that. As long as GODDAMN is the .rte name and Totaliun is the PresetName, it should work.
