 The Pelian Army *Update: Jun. 22nd '12*
WHAT HO, OLD CHAPS! This newly updated faction is my more srs-bsnss pack of stuff (basically), and as such, is a little bit less flamboyant and overpowered than you might otherwise expect. That isn't to say it is neither, because it is. I'm a lighthearted individual who loves chaos and destruction in games, and THIS MOST DEFINITELY REFLECTS IN MY MODS. Anyways, on with the show. You can see more descriptions in the game, if you so desire.

ACTORS

In order of appearance:

Pelian Light Soldier
- Fast walking speed
- Low durability
- High mobility
- Lower head is exposed
Costs 100 oz.

Pelian Medium Soldier
- Normal walking speed
- Good durability
- Medium mobility
- Helmet fully covers head
- Never gibs due to wounds
Costs 200 oz.

Pelian Heavy Soldier
- Slow walking speed
- Very high durability
- Low-medium mobility
- Inner helmet fully covers head
- Mask and chest armor is highly durable
- Never gibs due to wounds
- Impact resistant
Costs 300 oz.

Pelian Assault Robot
- Medium walking speed
- Insane durability
- Medium mobility
- Entry wounds cause very little damage
- Exit wounds are very painful
- Never gibs due to wounds
- Impact resistant
- Taller than normal
Costs 400 oz.

PA MARS
- BIG ♥♥♥♥ ROBOT
- Medium walking speed (and is awkward on foot)
- Extreme durability
- Medium mobility
- Entry wounds are basically harmless
- Exit wounds are painful
- Wounds don't gib
- Impact resistant
- MUCH taller than normal
- Extremely powerful weapons
Costs 2000 oz.

I've played around with it a little, and honestly I like how everything works. I especially like the jet pack the actor has. While I will have to agree that they could be graphically better, everything works pretty well. The rocket launcher doesn't feel overpowered (just right to me o-o), and I like the way the bullet-weapons handle. I also really like their shield - I'm amazed at how you got it to work without blowing the actors arms off. My only complaint is that the Actor feels and looks very much like the Coalition actor on stimpacks, and the shotgun seems a tad rapetastic at close range - but that's what Shotguns are for, so who am I to complain? But other then that I honestly really like this mod.

Honestly, I like the Pecker. it makes pistols seem...not so useless. So yeah, awesome.

Now that I see the Actor, I cant help but think of something Modern day military'ish. Gah! I'll think up something later. maybe.

Also, SPRITES BURN MY EYES, for the moste part, the body and stuff is ok but the head is horrible.

elaborations:
-Weapons are bog standard and boring and the AHuman is basically a clone with some awful sprites.
which brings me to my next point.

-The sprites are AWFUL

Back to the topic.
The soldier seriously looks like one of those "Army Men"... But at least it's still stronger that the average one. I suggest (as what others do too) a whole spanking new sprite remake. It's the best way to go...

@People who complain over spriting: I'm sorry, but i just can't do any better.
If anyone wants to improve them, feel free, but you can't expect anything
better than this from me. I'm a coder, not a spriter.
Believe me, i'd love to improve them myself, but alas, my abilities limit me :/

Maybe i'd be better off putting this on hiatus, because the main minus here
is something i can't fix myself :-( (Hint hint, epic spriters!)
I mean, it's not cool to release something when people complain over bad looks.
It's totally understandable that you do, but it still doesn't feel very good.

I wouldn't mind helping you out with the sprites if you needed. It'd give me something to do. Honestly I don't think their too bad - could be better, but at least their not total eye rape from how inexplicably bad they could be.
