XCOM Brand Grenades now available, buy yours today! I made it metagame compatible as well, though I didn't test it too much I can say it works, I now feel it's worthy of a full numbered release, v1.0 is go.

And thanks you guys for liking my first released mod after lurking since 2006.

Updated Again, minor bugfix, loadouts would no longer spawn dudes with no guns in auto bases/ai control, and The captain/power armor sould no longer bounce like rubber when knocked back, leading to exploding into bits of meat.

Aliens are still being worked on, It's just taking longer then I expected.

I was trying the version *pre bug fix* and I will say it feels pretty balanced to me in a way, I was playing against Dummies in the -latest- version, aka 1.0 on steam, and well, ...I was loosing rookies plenty often, and actually had to be carefull in a way, though the pistol is strong enough that I almost felt I preferred to use it over the rifle, for the sake of hitting power.

Well, it's been a while since I updated this, as I expected would happen, I was playing Cortex Command earlier and decided I wanted to rebalance some things because I'm a sadistic person who thought this mod should be harder.

Version 1.2: Balance Unknown is now live.

Pistol damage reduced, no longer shreds though everything, rate of fire lowered. price increased to 15
Rifle rate of fire lowered, damage slightly increased. price increased to 40.

Heavy cannon price increased to 140
auto cannon price increased to 150

Laser weapon damage unchanged, prices increased.
Laser pistol is now 120.
laser rifle is now 250
heavy laser is now 320.


Maybe eventually I'll finish the damn alien side of things.

My progress on the alien side of this mod is totally lost, my desktop died and took the sprites with it.

so have a minor patch that tries again to make the ballistic pistol less overpowered.

edited: new faces for the helmetless troops, fixed the autocannon which I accidentally deleted the round data for so it fired nothing.
