Way ahead of you; the mod did that from the very beginning, with sharpness. But I redefined the initial ammo count with Lua upon the creation event for no reason, which is the source of the problem.
I've got it fixed, but I'm not gonna bother releasing this fix alone, 1.2 will wait until I've got something else done too.
If you want to fix it for yourself in the meantime,
just delete line 8 of gau22.luaIt seems to still work in B24, so compatibility probably won't be a problem for the next few years. I heard that materials had toughened up, which I thought would have drastically reduced the wounding rate from this against some enemies, but that seems to not be a big deal.
