A bit of an unintended effect when I used this mod.

Loading the actor onto any craft and then dropping him off reloads his ammo.

So if you're outta ammo, you can load the guy into a crate, rocket, dropship, and he'll come out with a full bar.

As far as I know, that isn't easily fixed.
Though storing the ammo count in one of the actor's values might work.

Well, you could just think that there's a hidden ammo compartment somewhere inside the crafts. That's the main reason why other guns in CC seemingly have infinite rounds- the actor in question had looted this ammo compartment when they left the crafts...

Way ahead of you; the mod did that from the very beginning, with sharpness. But I redefined the initial ammo count with Lua upon the creation event for no reason, which is the source of the problem.
I've got it fixed, but I'm not gonna bother releasing this fix alone, 1.2 will wait until I've got something else done too.

If you want to fix it for yourself in the meantime, just delete line 8 of gau22.lua


It seems to still work in B24, so compatibility probably won't be a problem for the next few years. I heard that materials had toughened up, which I thought would have drastically reduced the wounding rate from this against some enemies, but that seems to not be a big deal.

This should have a volatile backpack version where if the backpack takes enough fire all remaining rounds go off inside it, killing the actor wearing it but also raping everyone around him.

Egh, I would consider that kind of thing for a jetpack or flame thrower, but I don't think it'd be very fitting here.
Realistically, I don't think it would explode, and that wouldn't be the functional theme (self destructive/critical weak point) that I'd want for this anyways.
