Fat Zombie's Flechette Gun
Here is an old mod that I held on to over the builds. It was originally made by "Fat Zombie," and I've changed it in minor ways, like adding "OrientToVel" to the projectiles. He originally called it the " 'Slingshot' Adhesive Flechette Cannon" according to the files. On to the device: This "slingshot" fires old-skool style sticky projectiles, meaning they use a combination of gibbing and emitters to achieve the effect. The explosion isn't instant-death, as seen in the gif, but considering you have 5 shots that can be quickly unloaded, there's not much to complain about in terms of fire-power. Edit: Oops forgot the download.

Re: Fat Zombie's Flechette Gun
I was actually going to update this about a year ago. Fat Zombie told me that I could edit the flechettes to be more like the ones on your AR2, but I never got around to it due to inexperience with modding and Lua in general.

Re: Fat Zombie's Flechette Gun
I too have held onto this mod, what have you done other than lowering the ammo count by one? (by the looks of it it still doesn't attach to actors properly)

(by the looks of it it still doesn't attach to actors properly) It was somewhat edited from a while ago (by me, during my edit-everything-learn-ini time period) and I attempted to restore it back to what it originally was. I disabled the spark effect-emitter from propelling the projectile, since that would make it spin off course and make shots inaccurate. Other than that, the device is relatively unchanged, since I kinda like the feel of it.

Re: Fat Zombie's Flechette Gun
This gun is flat great. Another favourite added to utility tools and weapons. I think somebody should pack all of Cricket's utilities into one neat mod with the robot actor for one convenient dl. I have nearly all, but I can't be sure and new people shouldn't miss them.

I'm Fat Zombie, and I approve of this message. Seriously, though, good to see the mod! I can hardly believe some of the stuff I managed to make in the old days. ".ini only" Is still the best way to make mods (it's the only way I know ).
