Dragon Corp *WIP*
On request by some users I have made my first mod a basic rundown of my profile Avatar. This mod is still being made but it does work at the moment. Please remember that this is my second mod that I have made and I am not very good at spriting. But Please, Enjoy! The Dragon Corp was first Founded by Denwa Denwash back before mankind became brains. He was never a stickler for the rules so he stayed in his natural body, but he did change his genetic DNA so he could live forever. Now he trains elite units known as Dragoons. They are the elite of the elite. And are feared whenever they are deployed. Their main weapon of choice is the Dragon Corps Refined Blaster Rifle. With advanced technology it delivers its payload of 120 Plasma shots in 6-8 seconds. While not delivering large amounts of damage, the plasma does destroy the enemies weapons leaving them defenceless while the remaining shots finish them off. (It does no require all 120 shots to kill one person) Actors: Dragon Corp Soldier Dragoon Weapons: Blaster Rifle Attachment:

Strengthen them by other ways.
Sprites are blocky.

I have strengthened them by other means but I thought adding more health would carry across the message better.
Thanks for the advice and when I have a few things to change or add i will Implement it.

Denwa wrote: I have strengthened them by other means but I thought adding more health would carry across the message better. well, you need to improve your sprite skills, not easy but its the 50% of the job. right now originality its a +500% of success rate, so imagine why your soldier with gun doesn't represent an amazing place in cortex. >100hp its bad because also produce extra money when you pickup troops, and its very unfair against the other factions and troopers. Check for example the cortex giants, they have 100 of hp but they resist like 800. In their respective .ini are the answers.

Ahh... Put like that I understand the health. And I know I'm awful at sprites, I just need to practice and get better. But thanks for the adv. I'll take it into consideration when adding new things and fixing current problems.
Also, if anyone wants to give me free advice, or even some ideas feel free to tell me. I'm like an open book, but don't think my mind is unbarred and ungarded!
I'd like to give you some free advice, how about not ♥♥♥♥ double posting?

Nothing particularly bad about it (apart from the sprites), but nothing really amazing either. Don't think it's going to stay in my folder long :/

Don't do crap resprites, make a sprite from scratch by studying the sprite itself.

Its ugly as sin but hey that is an easy fix
ok just some suggestions for the sprites:
A. Make the visor partially transparent (use pink)
B. The gun should have better sprites (maybe animate it some)
Thoughts: Needs more weapons/actors/dropships.../content
Pretty good job if its your first mod

Pretty good job if its your first mod If you mean lower the opacity of the visor that is not possible, pink is simply nothing.

YAY! The good: These guys really hold together well, and not just because there health is high (Which I honestly don't mind. I don't see why I would complain about getting extra money ). The blaster has a really cool looking effect to it. The bad: There helmet is both, box shaped, and seems to have no green to it whatsoever. But they don't look too bad overall. They could use a little bit of work. The gun could fire just a bit slower. it's currently a bullet spayer that lags a little for me. Everything else is good. Good job for one of your first mods. I'm looking forward to any updates!

So a tiny weak baby will have 100% health, as will a 20 foot armour-plated mecha. Also, to improve your sprites. Make your outlines less prominent. If you look at Cortex Command's actual sprites, you'll notice the outlines often don't even exist, and when they do they're not flat black, they're a darker shade of the primary colour. You really need to shade them too, flat colours never look good.

The sprites, you have used coalition leg/arm sprites. 2. the weapon, more, and it is Incedibly Over-powered, and too sharp. 3. the actor's viser, smaller? Good luke Luck and keep working on it!
