Yeah, that would be neat. And I know Numgun is experienced, I was joking around.

This gun appears to use the older mode-switching lua code, and this means that it crashes when destroyed on the mac version.
The scripts have since been corrected, though you'll have to ask Cave Cricket or otherwise get it from the Pulse Rifle.

It's a great pair of devices, quite handy. A heavy version of the BiTool would be great though, just to round things out a little.

Slight problem:

I equipped a light coal with a compact assault rifle and a bi-tool, used the bi-tool on cut for awhile, then when I wanted a concrete sprayer, I opened the pie menu and selected gold dig AI. I tested the tool and it was still a digger. I switched weapons. still digger. I switched characters, and he started digging for gold. No matter what I tried, it wouldn't become a concrete sprayer.

EDIT: I use Windows.

I think it's a bug with the script. Sometimes the switcher script will not work, but I'm not quite sure why. This applies to all weapons with this script version (for those who used the 'duel weapon fire mode template' before the mac fix).
