Simply put, this is the post cout ranking (e.g. titles) taken to the next level. Instead of getting a silly little subtext to your username, your username itself would get its colour changed. Lets say I get to nine hundred posts - or some other arbitrary number - my name gets reversibly changed. That means it automaticaly goes to the moderate level, but upon request it can be returned to another. So, opinions ? Is it possible to make ? |

There's no reason for it. |

Isn't it enough that it's a fairly interesting feature ? Here, I'll add a poll and see what the general user reaction is. Just to see if it'd be popular. Edit: Ooorrr not. Aparently I can't add polls. |

HELL NO. This is the most useless things you can find on forums. And on top of that it pushes some ppl to spam just that they get a new rank. |

Said it before, this is dumb as hell unless we implement a smartness system. Then it'd be kind of neat. |

What Pyro said, if we did implement some kind of "rank" system it should be based off use to the forum and not being an idiot, not post count. |

What about a user ranking thing? You can give eachother good/bad votes (One per person on another, like I could only say Pyro is good/bad once) and then our name color would show how much the forum likes us. |

I like this. Prevents lolspam while still keeping the general idea. |

You mean like the karma system that was attempted on the Soldat forums ? For the record, it failed miserably . But a bunch of people there were illiterate scum-bags, compared to this (relatively) tame group. 'Guess it's worth a shot. |

More like. Karma gives you positive points, and posts give you negative points. So if you post a lot and everyone hates you, you lose points. Hooray! |

No. Karma is stupid. It's just a popularity contest. |

And personally I believe any form of ranking other than moderators and normal users is elitist. Everyone is basically equal. |
