Post subject:  Server Move Done
Without any more notice, the server move is done. We have our own dedicated server for the site. With that we will have a faster site and a more stable site.

Key things

-Attachment settings
I may increase what you can upload , how many MB's you can upload.

-Rules
Rules will be changing. Nothing big but a better outline so everyone can understand.

-Spam
We are going to take a call on spam, if we see it, its removed. If its offensive . its removed. We cant have this anymore. No crude words either.

I can monitor every log, i can install any app, i can look into your insides and rm -rf your nuts

I didn't need to be flamed, I'm just not an expert on networking, that was really REALLY uncalled for. Meh. So yeah, after the flaming hot explanation, I shall shut it.

We had a shared hosting account. many sites on a server. somewere around 20-200 sites on one server. now we will have 5-20 sites.

Also we got ssh access, were unlike what we had, we had to email the host for anything to change.


Also someone pray for me to get the datarealms.com resolve for me, as its still going to the old domain.

I'm now choosing to use the IP address, just to feel awesome.

Also it seems quite a few people are going to the old domain for some reason...hmm...

Normaly takes 24 hours for most isp's name servers to propagate. till then, the ip works fine

5-7Mb should be enough for a limit me thinks. That way we should be able to upload even the biggest mod packs and other poo.
