Sorry if everyone knows about this, but, I'm having an age issue where I have to put 1992 as my birthyear to show that I'm 18 years old. If I put it to 1993, it says I'm 17.

It says I'm 18 and I'm from 1993 too. I'm confused as to what would cause this considering PHPBB is relatively stable.
To clarify, I am 18 and therefore nothing is wrong.

I was born in 1993 April 11th. If I change it to 1993, it will say I am 17.

It's not about whether it is important, it is a bug that needs to be fixed.
This board probably has a bar set on age to stop people under 13 from joining, due to child-related legislation in America. If this function is not working properly then it needs solving.

So far exactly one person (you) has reported this error. My birthday is 26 April '93, and it's working just fine for me, so it seems more like the problem is at your end than the forum's.

Just to clarify, I believe you can join if you are under 13. The American legislation comes in with the COPPA group.
It basically means, if you are in that group, we have to be extra careful with you.

Also, if there was a problem on the forums relating to age, It probably would not be worth fixing, due to the size of our little community.
