[Suggestion] Mod Sections?

Post subject:  [Suggestion] Mod Sections?
I was going through the mods today, and realized how hard it is to find just a specific type of mod. Like, say I wanted to download just a rocket, I would have to crawl through mods until I found a topic that was just about a rocket. Anyway, what I'm saying is that maybe we should have a more specific mod section?
Like:
    Mods
    Weapons
    Actors
    Rockets
    Dropships
    Bunker Modules
    Packs (A mod that contains more than one of the above)

So, in case the above didn't explain it right, we would have the Mod sub-forum, and then there would be sub-sub-forums, each with a specific (but not overly so) type of mod that would be put in that forum. Good idea? Please don't just say, "NO, YOU BLOW MONKEY GENITALS", give me a reason it's bad.

No, cause most of the mods nowadays contain at minimum 2 or 3 of those categories. It's working the way it is right now. Anyways, I only ever use search.php?search_id=newposts unless I need to make my own thread.

I actually like this idea. I find myself having this problem a lot. No clue how others will like it, though.

Indeed. The packs section would be full, and everything else would be the minor mods compendium, exploded.

OOH I'VE GOT IT WE SHOULD HAVE A BOARD OF JUDGES CALLED THE MOD REVIEW PANEL. THEY'D DECIDE IF MODS ARE CLASSED "GOOD", PUT THEM IN A SPECIFIC GROUP IF SO OR NOT AND THEN PEOPLE WOULD LOVE US FOREVER RIGHT GUYS?

Oh and yes the hypocrisy coming from a MEMBER of the MRP is very much intentional.

I was referring to the moderators.

Most mods are packs, so this idea is pretty irrelevant.

I believe that's the point of the ModDB project ProjektODIN was working on. Using tags, you can easily find the type of mod you want.

As Lord Tim said.No.Because every pack contains at least 2,3 things of list.For e.g. my mod : actors+weapons+dropship+map(maybe)

The good idea that was going around before was to have a subforum dedicated to requests, so we wouldn't have a 20 page long thread, and instead would be able to track progress for each request in their own threads.
