does this mean that Weasel believes we are mature enough (as a collective) to handle curse words?

this is quite the development...

This is different. Familiar, but ever so slightly different in a good way.
The layout I mean. Getting ♥♥♥♥ done rocks too.

You've always been able to curse. as long as you don't circumvent the word filter...

Word filter is default ON, so people won't be able to see your nasty words if you stay within regular nasty words guidelines.

Also; polls work again. I'll be watching very closely to see how they get abused, then I'll probably restrict them to OT or to mods or something.

Well, just gonna say thanks for being a gentleman Weasel.

No longer will people think that you are some form of evil spirit that preys upon the souls of forum admins of indie games.

All back as quickly as they were lost... in almost the same order too, but in reverse.

Off-Topic (But not gaming) posts don't affect post count, do they? If they don't, could you change that? I want a more accurate representation of my e-peen for the world to see.

Same here, looking at the info below my avatar you could assume I was a lurker by how little I seem to post, while in reality I just hang out in Off-Topic all of the time.

completely agree, I feel as though my e-penis is not large enough yet, even WITH WhatPulse D: /sarcasm

I do think it should count though.

I'd be probably around 3000 or so if Off-Topic counted. Gaming does though, I think.

Yeah, gaming counts for some reason. I guess OT doesn't count because it's intended as a spam forum, even though it really isn't.

If I recall it was to cut down on post count inflation through forum games.

I mean imagine if every post in RTD contributed to your post count. Eugh.

Does it really matter that much, either way? I can't honestly see what's bad about having it enabled, or what we lose by having it disabled. Just leave it as is.

>:D

But aside my wanting of it, there are plenty of people who have thousands of posts in Off-topic. It wouldn't be skewing it towards the forumgamers too much.

Post subject:  Re: Forum Upgrades

I suppose none of my contributions to the Art Dump count either.

The real solution to that sort of thing, guys, is to make a new subforum for forum games and move RtD and stuff in there, and make THOSE posts not count.

However, I think all posts should count.

"Oh, the post is spam and it shouldn't count."
If that was the case, then the poster should be warned or the post deleted, because then it's, well, spam.

The real problem to me is that when you cut posts out of the post count it isn't an accurate depiction of how active a member is.
And isn't that the whole point of showing the post count?
