Correct. Glad we're on the same page here. (no pun intended)

Yes... But the mod database does not show all the mods on the database, you must know what you are looking for and search for it, I don't like that. However the layout is very good.
It does everything that TIG and garrysmod do.

It doesn't show "everything" because there is nothing on it. There would be more to see if there was more posted to it. It posts mods by their download count, and by their age. You can search by keyword, or you can view all mods.

The problem is that it is just devoid of content, not that the project itself is flawed.

did NOONE read a thing I said?

You can't split the forums because of 1 thing.

NAME RECOGNITION. If someone's well known they automatically succeed, if not they *almost* automatically fail, and if there Infamous they always get flamed, regardless of what they create

you can't do a minor mod section because A) noone will look at it B) the people who do will loot, re-sprite and re-release in a pack. and C) people who make 1 or 2 things in a mod, will always be told right off that its in the wrong place if they are unliked and be forced to post there, no matter what they make.

you can't use a rating system with panels of pre-set judges because : they are biased, or incomplete.

Either leave it as is, or just have them moved to an older mods forum after X time without an update, to remove clutter. Honestly we have it set up as best as possible already, everything else forces people into categories based on someone else's arbitrary decision.

Actually, I think the last part of Miles's post above me is a fantastic idea.

Instead of setting the forum to auto-prune, set it to auto-move.
