What ever happened to being able to delete our own posts? Like if we accidentally double posted or posted something in the wrong thread. Why was that taken away?

I think they had trouble with people flaming, etc, and before they could get punished for the post, they deleted it.

why would that be as issue? if it was gone straight away? you cant delete posts that have posts made after them usually, so if someone replied to the flame the flamer would get pinned anyway.

I think it happened when James updated to the newer version of PHPBB or something.

I think James should tell us whenever he makes a change to the forum that affects us, just 'cuz it would be the NORMAL ♥♥♥♥ THING TO DO.

If I recall he always "seems to forget".

acually WJ is dead. he's been playinbg WoW till his head asploded and he doesnt do anything with the forum.

Just looked, and i am not dead. As for permissions to delete your own posts. not quite sure on that one. i belive we had someone delete all there own posts and people complained. if you want your post deleted, report your post asking for deletion

Back when we had it, we could only delete it if nobody posted after you.
