We had a shared hosting account. many sites on a server. somewere around 20-200 sites on one server. now we will have 5-20 sites.

Also we got ssh access, were unlike what we had, we had to email the host for anything to change.

Normaly takes 24 hours for most isp's name servers to propagate. till then, the ip works fine

5-7Mb should be enough for a limit me thinks. That way we should be able to upload even the biggest mod packs and other poo.
