That change just broke the Sprite Dump(s), which are an invaluable resource.

Because BMP images use lossless compression (meaning they have a large filesize).

They are still acceptable for you to link (like from imageshack, photobucket, or a private server), you just cant have them hosted on the domain.

Use PNG. Good compression, good resolution, good quality.

You could always resave as PNGs...

I use PNG's all the time for my sprites..

If you use MSPaint, they are uncompressed PNGs, and then WJ will disallow those as well.

Even using MSPaint to compress to .png drastically reduces filesize. Like, from, say, 500kb, to, maybe, 35.
