Only five days ago I bought a Geforce 8600 GTS. Only today I got CC up and running correctly, I installed all of the newest drivers and I must say that CC has never looked better. Every part of the game looks more crisp, text looks really clear. The sky's and backhgrounds look a bit oilyer. To the people who are thinking of buying a new GFX card, make sure you suit with the 8 series Nvidia graphics cards. For some reason when I capture a screen with either FRAPS or the game it gets captured at the resolution of 640x480 If I can find a way to capture in 1280x1024 than I can show you guys. I had it on high resolution mode in the driver so that games will run at 1280x1024 regardless of what game it is. I do know that the GPU does nothing but you cannot use the high resolution mode in the control panel without a 8000 series or ATI's equivalent. |

Crispness means your monitor is merely displaying at a good resolution. Performance would be CC never lagging, ever. |

I lol'd. Graphics cards do not have anything to do with CC. |

It could only be a driver thing, or the fact that something else changed that you didn't realize. In any case, if you're screen-capping at 640x480, it means the game's running 640x480 fullscreen... At least on software. I'd be impressed if they went to the trouble of scaling up lower resolutions so that a monitor could run at its native resolution. |

Obvious ad is obvious, ect. If you knew a bit about cc you would know that cc barely if at all uses the graphics card. |

Come on, just ignore something or someone if you don't like them, don't bother posting if you are saying something that either does not make any sense or anything that has a chance of offending someone airdoo0 wrote: You- Sat Jan 27, 2007 Me - Tue Jan 09, 2007 Who is more active? |

Anyways, I've given a ♥♥♥♥ about CC since B11, you obviously have not, even though you were ironically correct in your original statement, CC uses none of the GPU. |

airdoo I was also talking about the part of offending someone. Not saying that GRIF will get offended but it still has that tiny little chance. Off-topic: Sorry about replying to every reply but I feel the need to, because somebody needs to put this guy to a halt. |
