It is COMMAND, not COMMANDO.

There is no networking ability in CC right now.

You have to buy the rights to put it on arcade.

It would probably have to be recoded from scratch.

Umm...

Mods? How would you add them?

We would of course use the infinite power over microsoft that we have as a world famous forum to convince them to add a downloader/uploader to live just for us.

HAHA! Thats funny..

CC for console has been discussed several times before, it just wouldn't work.

Why not? You can play this game at Xbox360 controller, what is lots of easier...

Why does everyone keep objecting ot the idea? I, personally, would think it very cool.

Disregard anything about "GAHH MICROSOFT!" *shakes angry fist*" whatever you may think about MS, make it null at this point.

Just think, a new platform, mods could be downloaded in free packs, xbox live, voice communication...

It could work, and work well for that matter.

Why does it seem that the same people who realise that we can't do online play for CC due to the physics are completely oblivious to the fact that it is also an issue for Live?

Touche.

Still, if it could be resolved, I would still like it.

It has also been shown several times that there are ways that network play could be made possible. For instance having a cut off point for the number of MOPixels/MOSParticles/MOSRotating that can be calculated at one time, and doing calculations on the player's computers rather than on the server so that all the the information that needs sent back and forth for particles would be velocity, direction, and position. This wouldn't make it possible for certain, but it does make it seem plausible.

Also, since Xbox is made by Microsoft, it will probably support most of CC's programming already because it is written in a C language.

I think that having CC at all is great in itself. A console release would be pretty cool, but doesn't have to happen.

Limiting the number would mean pixels getting stopped at wierd times.

Doing stuff on players computers may not work with the... unpredictable nature of certain things.

Maybe. Although that isn't even related to Microsoft.

Pretty much.

But its SDL functions would have to be reprogrammed in DirectX, which would still require a lot of time. CC is likely an easily portable game, provided the libraries exist on its target platform.
