Modding Contest - Theme: Ini Only - Ends 3 April 2017
Hey, time for a modding contest, since we haven't had one in a while.
The theme is: Ini only, meaning your mod cannot use any Lua. This restriction includes default actor AI scripts, existing vanilla Lua scripts, and existing particles that use Lua.
First place prize: A, or several, Steam games where the total cost is 60 USD or under. Any leftover change is gone.
Submissions begin: 3 March 2017 Submissions close: 3 April 2017
To submit a mod for the contest, make a thread in Mod Releases and include [Mod Contest Entry] in the title, and include some screenshots and a description. Y'know, the normal stuff. Including the mod is important too.
Rules: -Stick to the contest theme -Maximum of three BUYABLE items. This means that your mod can have any number of items or objects required to make it work, but it can only add up to three new items to the buy menu. This limitation includes the base builder menu. -No scenes/missions for this contest. -Limit one entry per person, no group effort allowed for this contest. Asking for minor help (figuring out what a variable does) in the Mod Making subforum is allowed. Having major portions of code written for you is not. -Don't be a jerk

I'm thinking "something involving AEmitter shenanigans that results in a pretty looking, but also functional... thing".
2 questions: does the buyable restriction include the base builder, and are scenes/missions eligible?

Good questions. -Buyable restriction includes the base builder -Scenes/missions are not eligible for this contest, they would fit more into a dedicated scene-themed contest. Updating the OP accordingly.

Does the restriction include the use of the default actor AI?
Furthermore, does it include vanilla scripts that already exist, such as ShotgunReload.lua?
What about scripts that are a part of a vanilla particle, such as GroundFlame.lua, would that prohibit the use of said particle?
