   |   Techion Brain MechI don't know if anyone still remembers this mod but i've already done a few searches of the modding section and other to find this but i have been unable to find it. so you see those brain mechs? well i can't seem to find the modding topic it was suppose to be somewhere around B24 but it isn't..there was a similar mod before 2010 but its sprites are different and it was never completed. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14298&start=195

   |   Re: Techion Brain MechLet me hang from this thread to complain about why they removed Coalition's Heavy Brainbot instead of keeping it and making more brainbots for everyone.

   |   Re: Techion Brain MechI liked it :c
I hope we get to see it again, or at least, more brainbots, having only the tradestar's one and imperatus' one is depressing.

   |   Re: Techion Brain MechI made the Coalition brain bot, sprites included. It was intended to be a placeholder to make the explosives-only version of One Man Army a little more interesting back when it was first implemented. But yeah, nobody ever did a proper sprite, so I guess it ended up being removed. Probably the better choice, polish-wise.

That said, the focus was on other parts of the game. Asklar wrote: Do you think there might be any chance of it coming back?I haven't been very involved in CC development lately, so I can't say for sure. There's definitely been work to add in more actors and round out the techs a bit more, though, so I imagine some more brain bots will probably crop up.

   |   Re: Techion Brain MechOfficial content isn't mods.

And "asking for contributors from the modding section" is recruiting those modders into the dev team. We can't just yank mods from Mod Releases and put it into official content, if that's what you're saying.

Anyways, it's not like we need the actual mod to implement the idea. The current dev team right now is more than capable of recreating anything you'll see in a mod release.
