Unfortunately, you can not change how much gold you start with. However, if you'd like, I could tell you how to get money just by buying a rocket.
Or how to make the ground solid gold.

The easiest way I've found is to just assign a largely negative GoldCost to something such as the rocket. |

Even though you did not flame him, you expect him to have that sort of knowledge at this stage?Since this is his first time, he probably doesn't know what to edit to make rockets and what not have a negative cost. But that's exactly what I do. Go into Base.rte/actors/rockets/rockets.ini Go search on Notepad for GoldCost, and there should be a line looking like this Code: GoldCost = 50 Change it to. Code: GoldCost = -5000 And Ta-Da! It pays you to use rockets  !

Thanks to all of you for your help. I am in gratitude for your generous services. On a side note, I have implemented the 'negative cost trick' and have found it effective and am glad you provided instructions. |
