Post subject:  Mod Job List?

I was just thinking of implementing a list of problems/scenarios that need mod intervention. Let's say someones question has been answered and it needs to be deleted, whack it on the mod list, low priority, and then it's just a waiting game.

Or, an infinitely worse scenario, a thread has started to collapse with spam bots and idiots posting racist/sexist things and a lot of pictures, crushing the bandwidth, on the mod list, highest priority, wait.

Just and idea,

I was thinking of setting up a devoted thing where people could send problems/scenarios.

Like dialing 000/911 without a reason, heavy penalties would apply for misuse of the thing.

you could PM the moderators and ask them for a little forum section that they would check once in a while...

Or you could just report posts, which does the same thing. See? It's that easy. :P

Yeah, don't forget the report button.

And I don't think that we need such a system, considering the relative frequency that each forum is scanned. At best, it could mean a difference of a few minutes or so.

If something really really needs attention, then go into IRC and check for a mod there. If there isn't one, then use the report feature, and a mod will quickly work to resolve the problem when they get on.

OK, then.

Can we get a lock on this?
