 Simple Suggestion: Treasury/Gold vaults

Post Simple Suggestion: Treasury/Gold vaults
I was wondering about gold vaults where you would have to store your valuables. Maybe one would have to store gold only after reaching specific amount, I'm not sure about this. This vault would be of course vital strategic point in every "rich" base. This creates oppurtunity of stealing from your foe's base and giving you another reason to make your base even more safe. What do you think about this idea? Peace!

Given that the only way of harvesting gold in any form is to dig it, it seems pretty pointless to me, and not warranting time spend on coding it.

Well the "gold" you possess is not the physical material itself but the value of extracted gold according to Tradestar, who holds your digital account, produces and delivers your equipment, and maintains currently unused brains for you.

more or less it's just like a credit card account with Tradestar.

Diggers are mini teleporters, right? When I kill somebody with a digger his guts appear in pulviscular form in some giant bay in the TS?

I never considered this before but that is a hilarious mental image, mining through corpses and just a huge pile of guts and bone coating everything in Tradestar...

Long ago in CC, the gold you dug got turned into gold bricks that were placed into your inventory, and you had to haul them into crafts and send them to space in order to get funds. Was probably removed because harvesting gold was difficult, since your gold couriers (the miners and the crafts) could be easily killed and you'd go bankrupt quickly.
