| Post subject: | Metagame crash |
This have been an already discussed topic, I have installed a few mods and tried to play them as factions in the campaign but just before a battle commences CC crashs immediately. Just wondering if there is a way to bypass this. I'm the mac version and re-downloaded from the HiB site a few days ago so should be up to date. P.S. Causes of the crash would be appreciated. Thanks. |

HiB version is outdated, get the newest version from http://licensing.datarealms.com/licensing/humblelogin |

I think the crash happens because of the auto-build on your locations when using modded factions. That, or the faction doesn't have a proper defined loadouts.ini. |

More precisely, if a loadout is broken somehow (such as an invalid CopyOf reference) then yes, this can cause anything from simply the craft and weapons spawning in mid air before gibbing and falling to the floor respectively (if the actor mentioned is invalid) to the game itself flat-out crashing. I recommend trying to narrow it down to whichever factions you're playing with right now, and seeing if others are having similar problems. Check if there are updated loadout files as well. |

There's no actual changelist that I'm aware of, but it was specifically stated to fix some metagame bugs. |
