B27 Bug Reports
For sake of easy, all in one place reading, please report your B27 bugs here. If you can provide video, pictures, or easy replication methods, that would also be great.
I'll start:
Under high duress moments, projectiles will no longer connect with actors or items, simply passing through harmlessly. On one occasion, bullets and other projectiles did impact, resulting in wounds being inflicted, but no health damage or gibbing resulted.
The seam bug. Gibbing actors.
At least in my case, swapping from a win/fail screen to the metagame takes a very long time, often in excess of 10 seconds. possibly linked to hard drive speed, cannot confirm.
It is possible for the AI to carry out an endless campaign against you if their gold is low enough, but not negative. This consists of the AI flying a brain bot into your site and attempting to dig up gold. The enemy team will not lose any more gold from this should the attempt be foiled, and will rinse repeat forever until you give up.
The AI is rarely capable of capturing sites that have not been discovered yet, or possibly instantly capture them as soon as they are. EDIT: Upon further research, this happened with the Armorassault scene in Abduls experimental dummy vehicles mod, and upon attempting an attack on the scene, owned by team 2, the attack was immediately successful without so much as a screen fade and I took the scene. Weird.
More metagame weirdness, not sure if intended to be possible or not, but two enemy AIs just engaged each other over a site one of them already owned, and the end result was the site going neutral again with no owners. Scene in question was a standard vanilla site.

TDExplosive projectiles always passing through any actors.
Looks like metagame selects sites invisible to player (I have loads of them in my big mods). It would be great if we could intentionally mark scenes as incompatible with metagame. Probably just by adding specific area. Ok, I guess setting MetagamePlayable = 0 in scene definition file should do the trick.

Certain metagame maps will load incorrect scripts for weapons. I've had this occur three times in two seperate campaigns, but I have no idea what causes it or how to replicate it I'm afraid. In the first case, sniper rifles were shooting lascannon beams, and in the second and third cases, stalker boltguns were shooting lasgun beams. In both cases they were still firing their normal projectile as well as the beam.

Error-checking ini scripts seems to be largely dysfunctional, resulting in the game often crashing outright without any error messages. It can catch malformed property names but crashes on illicit CopyOfs.
Loadouts seem to lack any validation beyond the basic syntax check; a poorly constructed loadout will result in a runtime crash. These include CopyOfing existing loadouts, or defining the same loadout multiple times. Probably more.
Text lingers in metagame screen at times, after a tied site-contest, I think.
Construction budget gui element remains even if the previous build phase exhausted all allocated funds.
GoldValue Lua bind seems to have disappeared.

In the metagame, if two AIs are on the same team, their sites spawn a unit for each AI on that team. Including brains.
Also, when an AI conquers an AI site, the previous AI's units aren't cleared from the site.

You can fly indefinitely, even when heavily laden, with any actor with a jetpack: Just use a pulse digger! ^_^ Also, sometimes the screen spazzes out when you're trying to place your brain or landing point, making it impossible. I think it's related to placing within a player's pre-set dropzone or something, but I'm not entirely sure... I'll have to do some testing!

I can't even install it. It says files from Base.rte are missing. Unfortunately I don't have an old install from where I can copy them back to where they belong. But shouldn't the install have all the files the game needs?

After messing around with it a bit I found the following solution: change the default install path some something different ( I added 27 behind Cortexcommand) and then it worked. Don't know why. Maybe I did something wrong when removing some old version?

I have noticed a bit of a weird thing where actors get sucked toward rockets as they are taking off. I have not been able to reproduce it, but it has happened at least a few times.
This is natural, the actor is boarding the craft when this happens. You can see the visual guides near open craft doors.
EDIT: Also there have been a few times when, while digging, my brainbot teleports a few layers into the snow.
This is probably just a physics glitch and is very common.

B27 freezes my whole computer and then crashes my video drivers (I think?) every time I run it. After a few seconds or minutes of running it, both my monitors fill with vertical lines of randomly colored pixels, and after a few seconds of that, they both turn mostly blue and the whole PC locks up frozen, can't do anything or change anything besides hold in the power button to reset.
On Win7. Don't know why this is happening or how to stop it.

It appears that there's a rogue site during the campaign. The AI is able to access and gain income from it, while the player cannot.

I can't click on the tundra map to finish my campaign. Oh and also there was one instance where both myself and another A.I. shared a base, his troops along with mine were both in Sentry/Patrol modes so it was just a bit weird.

Whenever I play the Campaign with an AI on the same team as me and we both attack the same site it gives me control of the AI's dropship instead of mine. This causes me to lan in a random location and more importantly, results in the AI standing still and not ordering and reinforcments or anything. I've tried to swap to my dropship but it won't let me, it also doesn't fix it by selecting the AI's brain.
