Post Cortex Command Fan Art
This is my hello-thread cunningly disguised as what the headline describes.

I bought Cortex Command after a friend presented it to me. A big factor which actually got me to buy it was the art: From the detailed spritework to cool concept art.
I'm still learning my art, gathering skills in drawing, and the other day CC inspired me. I drew a little picture.

I thank Datarelms for this magnificent game, with it's gameplay and art alike.

Now, this thread is for everyone's Cortex Command Fan Art and their comments. Have fun y'all.

That is very, very nice.

I love that style.

What program did you make it in?

Did you use a tablet?

If he didn't he's got Godly mouse control.

I stand by my statement; spiffy.

If you haven't been to Prom's site, it's here: http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/

He's the guy who does all the art for Cortex Command. He's awesome.

Photoshop, and I use tablet. No Godly mouse control here. Although spriting is hella lot easier with the mouse... Image Nevermind the pink pants. They're like that due to some technical issues.

Hmm. Not bad, he remained much more intact then I thought.
What I did there was convert him to the Cortex Command's palette.
With the palette, its now a valid graphic ingame.

Where could I get this palette? I'd like to whip up something when I have time.

That's really cool.
Kinda funny too, it's like that other slide, except they are all just firing lasers and the station is sideways.

probably because that craft is the one that's floating in orbit around the planet in the main menu.
