I cannot wait until the new CC comes out, it fixes everything big i thought to be wrong with CC (actors of the same team not colliding with each other and no friendly fire anymore). I most humbly ask Data when we might see it? |

I heard in a bunch of other posts that he's planning on finishing it this year, maybe early 2013. He's mainly focusing on the meta-game and what you already pointed out. |

2013? Oh no. Then it will take longer than that, just like some other epic games that are going to be released in a year but when the day comes they delay it some months. We will probably have the perfect CC only at middle 2013. |

First: i'm sorry for pointing this out, but both of you need some serious online etiquette help... Second: Data's release date was for this year 2012, which means skeggy was probably right if there are any delays it will probably be early 2013. EDIT: As in the "Final build" as in no more updates, that is, as far as I know. |

he's right. gold is the game the devs willingly release to the public labeled as version 1.0. technically it's when the golden copy of a game is made that is used in mass production of copies of the physical product so they can be boxed, shipped and sold. the term is also used in the music industry and originated there. doesn't mean it's finished. by evidence a lot of games go gold lacking loads of polish but it's normally fixed in a patch or series of patches. because i suspect Data doesn't have a adequate *intensive* (what i mean by that is you have us, but you don't have focus testers that try and actively do things that might cause a bug or something to go off) QA and testing department when you guys go gold you'll probably get some complaints that can easily be fixed. from what i've seen and can think of so far i strongly suggest data implement the enhanced movement mod for the final game. seriously, it would take dependance upon jetpacks to get around efficiently greatly. considering it also seems that you guys want jetpacks just to be a boost to overcome vertical obstacles or be used lightly in combat for the most part. you really need to optimize actor walking speeds and navigation. viewtopic.php?f=61&t=25493 this one so this year or early next. honestly i can't wait, this (the lack of friendly fire or collision with friendly actors) means we can have real fire fights with shitloads of actors and lead squads actually effectively. one more suggestion, please bring back the follow feature to the move here waypoint pie menu option. like in build 25 or 24 you could select move actor for actor #1 and place the waypoint on actor #2 and actor #1 would follow actor #2. i've been around since the beginning and this has been one of my favorite games for around, maybe over half a decade. while slow i'm always pleased with the decisions data makes for this mod. honestly i have such faith in this game i have a feelling it's going to be one of those "ultimate" games that you can play forever and never ever get tired with. |

Really? last time i tried to do it it just set a waypoint for the position of the person i want followed. it didn't actually make a dynamic waypoint that was attached to the leading actor. |

okay it seems the waypoint just lags really bad and i have to wait a while for the actor that is following to update the waypoint to the actor they are following to their current position |

Neo, the waypoint update lag thing has been fixed for the next build. Also, 1.0 of CC is absolutely coming out in mid 2012 unless i get struck by a meteor or something |

Data wrote: Neo, the waypoint update lag thing has been fixed for the next build. Also, 1.0 of CC is absolutely coming out in mid 2012 unless i get struck by a meteor or something I hope the waypoint itself gets fixed, because every time I use my jetpack to go somewhere, the guy that is following me just start flying near the place where he is supposed to go, but he don't go to the place he has to go. So, basically, waypoint follow isn't completely working. |
