I was reading some list of mod and kind of realised that they were from
build 18. I've then read the comments and read about ''Armmagadon'' and
and ''Thor'' ? I was just wandering what happened about all those mods and
who is that ''Thor'' ! Thanks in advance

Last I heard, we're not allowed to talk about it? I don't know if they actually care to enforce that anymore, I'll assume not but tread lightly. It's not in the rules anymore, and it certainly wasn't in one of the sets of rules, but that's another story, for another, more chill Christmas.

To put it very simply, there was a member of the community called ProjektTHOR who was an admin/mod/whatever of the forums for a while, didn't like how the forum was going, decided to take matters into his own hands, and deleted most of the forum's attachments/posts/threads.

What he hoped to accomplish with that, I don't even have a clue. Most members were upset, some acted unreasonably, so discussion about it was controlled, somewhat excessively in my opinion. I think it's been plenty long that we can talk about it reasonably enough, though, someone fill us in a little more?

I don't even exactly remember the name, THORmageddon, was it? THORcalypse?

His name is projektTHOR, yes. But yeah as far as I know it's no secret controlled topic anymore. THOR doesn't like it when you talk about it and when he's around, but he's not around at the moment (he was first banned but let back in as a normal user because he's buddies with some of the mod team). In addition we've had some other mishaps with forum attachments being deleted, I forget all the circumstances. Any file older than about a year is unlikely to still be around unless it was reuploaded.

Everyone has their genocidal moments. Also I'm friends with THOR on facebook. Good guy.

Most of the attachments died when the site moved host, there was the THORmageddon, and there might be a phpBB setting that culls attachment size at a certain limit.

Was banned for nearly 2 years. Good times.

There's also no more b18 mods left because we're at b26 at the moment
