Help please... CC is not starting

Post subject:  Help please... CC is not starting
I installed the latest Version without any mods or changes with default settings.
The Game starts but when I start a skirmish game it crashes with following error:

Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 453, because:
Could not match property in Base.rte/Effects.ini at line 5!
The last frame... bla bla...


I did not change something in the effects-file.
The fist few lines are:

Maybe you should just try uninstalling it and installing it again. Has it worked before?

10 times... and i just rebootet my system... and did it again...
Everytime the same error.

I just discovered this game and never installed it before.

When the error is on the instance name, it usually means that there's a problem with the line above, but the spelling and capitalization seem to be just fine...

Try dling mine, just in case.

Thnx... i tried it... but it does not help. :(
Your file seems to be same as mine from the unchanged install.

Tomorrow I will try it on my Notebook... maybe its my an issue with my PC.

PS: Nice Community... such fast and nice response... I hope i can solve that porblem fast.

What the heck is wrong with my PC ?

My PC:

Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB (MSI)
Athlon 4200+
2GB Ram
Abit Board
Windows XP SP2

I dont understand why the error occours while loading the effects.ini if this
has to do with my hardware. Or could that be an issue with some drivers
or libaries?

If you just reistnalled the mod that doesn't always work. For some reason it doesn't overwrite everything, try deleting the Data Realms folder and then installing it. That fixed it for me once, although it was an earlier build.
