   |   Re: Campaign????it's basically guaranteed that most/more of the compaign will be done in the next full build release
which could happen anywhere from tomorrow to two years from now, basically

   |   Re: Campaign????I'd rather have more content, and the stuff in the twitter updates implanted to the next build for a quicker release. The game still have flaws in the basic gameplay, so I'd rather have those get improved first before having the campaign.
I think having the campaign is good, as long as its development doesn't hinder other improvements.

   |   Re: Campaign????TDS you do realise that the twitter updates are from commits to the SVN -> are "implanted" into the codebase for the next build, yeah?

   |   Re: Campaign????Errr, cool?
Anyway, I still thinks Data should focus on stuff similar to those in the twitter update before moving onto campaign. Unless he can manage making both at the same time.

To me, it's still game mechanics and general gameplay first, campaign second.

   |   Re: Campaign????The campaign isn't made by Data.
Every campaign mission (currently) was scripted by TLB and filled with content by Numgun.

Now the dev team's been changed around some, but there's definitely no shortage of talent. So the current program is very likely to continue - content will be made by TLB and the rest of the dev team, while Data works on the engine. The two processes work basically separate from each other, except when Data has specific directions for missions to take, or makes new changes to the engine that change the modding process.

And here I was thinking promster was in charge of the campaign.

Good to hear that. I'm more confident with CC's development now.

And here I was thinking promster was in charge of the campaign. Not really, he just came up with a lot of the fluff for it.

Also, I've never heard of money moving on itself, so those 18 bucks probably aren't going anywhere. Unless you take them somewhere, of course.
