Hello, my english is not the best and i only know CC because of the great Humble Bundle. So what can i say, i love Cortex Command but i miss some new release? The last version 24 isn't updated till now. Whats happend? greetings PGer |

CC is not a game that updates frequently. As in, at all frequently. As in, a year between builds is not uncommon. However, each build generally offers significant progress. This next build especially is going to contain a lot of new content, and new flexibility for modders. If you're interested in a fairly active update on progress, you can check out the DRL Twitter account here which is updated with every major change to the source code of the game, as well as ingame content created by the various developers. If you're not aware of the whole backstory: Cortex Command is entirely programmed by one guy, Daniel Tabar, or Data, who has been working on it for years now. Recently, however, he's hired a slew of high profile, highly creative, and highly intelligent community members to create some of the content, which is especially going to pay off with Build 25. However, as the base game is created solely by Data, updates are fairly few and far between. It's just a fact of the community, and one way to "tide you over", if the idiom reaches across the language barrier, is to partake of the many excellent mods available on this forum. |
