3D Cortex Command stuff - RIG PUBLICALLY AVAILABLE
SCROLL DOWN FOR EARLIER PROGRESSQuote: also http://www.box.net/shared/kbg8ouis75It's only in blend format He has also been a bit re-proportioned also to you guys with the 3D printers HE IS NOT ONE COMPLETE SEGMENT HIS HANDS AND HELMET ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE REST THE HAND CLIP INSIDE THE ARMS AND HELMET CLIPS INTO THE HEADenjoy Quote: It's now more than soon have an image of the new rig shotgun texture is a work in progress Quote: latest render I'm going to start picking up Maya soon so I'll probably port it into that but I fell like remaking it, but that's unlikely but once it's in Maya it'll be a lot easier to work with source as well I may make custom animations for it too instead of using valves default ones. Quote: REGARDING SOURCE ENGINE STUFF Because source is the only engine I know how to compile for, if anything the model would be used with that. I have no knowledge on the subject of making a source mod however, if anyone does know about starting one let me know I may try to compile this a counterstrike re-skin or some ♥♥♥♥ some time for practice. But for now the is NO mod. Quote: STATUS REPORT COMRADES Texture is a bit messy but still seems to be working my new avatar for Polycount and here I guess also working on Gibs to coincide with CC's violent nature don't worry it'll get gorier, I've always wanted to make player gibs but never have before Quote: The model itself is now finished, the texture is coming along nicely but is still a work in progress Quote: I was using this as a profile proportionate to the actual concept art if anything it would be the terrible render angle Here's a profile angle of the front I had no side to work from so I improvised Quote: still heavily WIP but I lacked the actual character profile but it's coming along nicely any comments + crits would be appreciated.

Re: A little something I've been working on
Nice. Looks perfect to me. The only thing I'd change is maybe make the chest plate pop a little more.

Re: A little something I've been working on
Helmet looks a bit big to me but otherwise it's pretty damn near perfect.

Re: A little something I've been working on
skinny friggin' soldier
proportioned like a child; he's supposed to be ~6 feet in height

Re: A little something I've been working on
That's a little unfair as those are roughly the proportions of the soldier as he appears in game.

Re: A little something I've been working on
yeah, but the anatomical inaccuracy is just a bit creepy in a larger scale

Re: A little something I've been working on - 3D CC shiz
The model itself is now finished, the texture is coming along nicely but is still a work in progress

Do you intend to rig it? Or have you already? It would be an amazing ragdoll/playermodel in Gmod.
