Lay off the new modders! Sure, I too am sick of the "Its my first" excuse to make a half-assed suckeh mod. But now people are just saying "This is crap" to everything that a new modder is making. Sure it may not be original, but were your first mods the greatest thing in the world? |

Too true. Look at my mod for example. Fearful_ferret wrote: I might well be able to make this in about the same time it would take me to dl (save the sprites). All too common these days... Edit: Quote wanted furret, not ferret. Fixed. |

shouldnt this be in mod making? and no this is not true. i didnt release my first mod. but the first mod i did release was accepted by the community. but all these "OMFG destroy the map with a million bullets" weapons are too easy to make. the hard part is making balanced and fun weapons to play with and i think i did a pretty good job on my H-weapons and thats why people liked them |

hehehe, for my first mod, i have something tottaly original. i dont think its ever been made before, not that ive found. look in the phase rifle thread in mod making fi you want to know more. |

And yes, I have created several mods, just none have been released because I don't think they meet up to the standards of this forum. |

Hmmm, my first mod was a gun... A magnum with a long barrel, I didnt know ♥♥♥♥ about modding, so I asked for help Then i released my 3 weapon pack, it was ok but still suckish, most of the mods I posted are crap, the good ones i keep to myself Right now im working om my SUPER ULTRA GOOD BALANCED WEAPON PACK that Im gonna post in a few days |

I think my first mod was pretty good, it may not have been original, but it had sounds and a good sprite. And I think p3lb0x's H-weapons mod was great. Seriously, the mods that have been coming out lately haven't been that great. |
