CC on Steam. Wait, what?
So, I was reading the Humble Indie Bundle's download page instead of researching moss like I was supposed to be doing, and I came across this little snippet under where it gives you a code to redeem the games on Steam. Humble Indie Bundle wrote: Cortex Command and Revenge of the Titans will be auto-activated when they make their Steam debut. Whether this means that CC is coming to Steam or not is yet to be seen, but judging from what Data's been hinting at for the licensing system, I don't think it's too far fetched. Discuss.

What are the benefits of it being on Steam? There's no formal online play.
OMG I just realized the "there will never be online play" thread is on longer pinned!

Re: CC on Steam. Wait, what?
Why would it need steam to play?
Why would you even MAKE it need steam to play?
I dont understand your logic behind believing that.

Re: CC on Steam. Wait, what?
I put CC as a non-steam game in, and really having it download from steam is much of a muchness, except that it'll be damn hard to mod it when you gotta go trawl through... PROGRAM FILES.

Well it's in my Steam list, I never run it out of there though.

Re: CC on Steam. Wait, what?
You can install steam wherever you want. I currently have mine in "D:/Games/steam", so all games I install go to that folder.

Re: CC on Steam. Wait, what?
Since steam wouldn't have had any problems in program files, unlike CC, I didn't see any reason not to use the default path.

Lol, are you the same Zalo that ive been finding on random physics related game forums... and the DMM forums and i think you have a youtube account as well that ive seen... you have been making quite the name for yourself (either that or im a stalker)
But back on topic,
I see no reason that it shouldnt be on steam, I enjoy the games and how easy they are to pay and download... and the DRM is nowhere as bad as most of the security ive seen out there.
