1) The game's apparantly supposed to be viewed at a 2x window or something, I don't really know.
2) No units were cut. Some good mods that most people I think might have: UniTec, Crobotech, MaximDude Corp., SAW, DSTech, mods by Akablabla (I think that's his name), stuff by numgun, stuff from cavecricket, mods by Abdul, and I'm pretty sure there's many more.
3) Hmm, did you set CPU to one of the teams? Also, to save your bunker, you're gonna have to do a coupla things. One open up the scene editor in the game editors and choose a terrain to build your bunker. Then open up the area editor. Make one area called "LZ Team 1." Draw a box where you want the landing zone to be, the height of it doesn't matter, only the width. There can be multiple boxes as well. Make another area called "LZ Team 2" and do the same. Then open up where you put your scene and open up the .ini for it. Then, change this:

to 110 (it can be any set of numbers, just use this for now). If it doesn't appear when you open up "Skirmish Defense," change the numbers. 110 for both values is about the lower right half of the world.
4) Considering the amount of content changed in the 1.5 years between B23 and B24, possibly 2020.
5) The AI's stupid, so never leave your guards alone. Nothing can be done currently until DaTa implemts overriding C++ AI with Lua.
Akablabla Abdul made a safer craft mod though.
