Hey is anyone hearing this? 42334, you there?

My neural link got busted and so I lost my regional data. I managed to scavenge a bazooka and a gatling gun, but got shot up bad.

I'm sitting here alone waiting to get shot into this hole. They're looking for me...
I swear someone must've customized their deployement orders...

Sentience sucks.

(On a more out-of-character note; I fixed the script not sending the enemies after you, and did SceneMan:MakeAllUnseen(Vector(30,30),0) at start.)

Not bad. Maybe a bit short for a fan-fic type thing, but I've seen shortness done in horror before. Why not sci-fi?

How'd you get fog of war on a normal map?

Fog of war is done via Lua.
It's probably a combination of the activity script and the scene.

Oh, is it a CYOA?
You should make it one.
Fog of War would make for an interesting one.

If it's a CYOA then it should go under OT.

Also, buy a healing droid ASAP.

I'm not so sure it is one.
I mean, yeah it starts off like one, but he never said to suggest anything.
Anyhow, I suggest you search your inventory.

It's not a cyoa. The guy got nailgunned to the face shorty after the screenshot.

I dunno, was bored. Maybe trying to get some sort of RPish shortstory-thread going, maybe not.

I'm pretty sure one of our dropship's engines was taken out by a Ronin RPG.

The dropship landed upside down. I managed to jump up and away before those damn bay doors went shooting off like a ♥♥♥♥ bazooka.

The area is swarming with them—crazy ♥♥♥♥. They come at you with no sense of self-preservation, like a flood.

Capitol, can you hear me?

I'm still alive for the moment. Send reinforcements. I can't hold out much longer. I've been shot in my brain cavity, chest cavity, and femoral artery. I'm bleeding out. Send reinforcements and a medic.

42330! You're alive!

I've called for reinforcements. I've got your location. I'm coming! Hold on, brother!

42330, this is to be my last transmission. I'm stuck in a valley with Ronin dropships all around me.

They lied to us. They sent us here to die. The Capitol's even sent in a few of their clones.

Capitol, why have you forsaken us?

I'm not going to take this sitting down. Godspeed, Heavy #42330.

But yeah.
This does seem interesting.

Does it all have to be vanilla content?
No mods such as DarkStorm or RETARDS?

I actually reloaded my rifle and hesitated, standing directly behind him, the barrel of my gun just an inch away from his skull.

My anxiety was intense.

I shoot once; barely tapping the trigger. He recoils and turns around to meet me. In panic, I fire two more shots, joining the first.

He's dead before he hits the ground.

[It's a short story thread about war heroes. In the first two cases, they have been sent on a suicide mission. The only purpose was to be killed. Against all odds, they went down fighting, taking down immense amounts of bodies before succumbing to death.]
