Post My suggestions for Cortex Command
Great game, it's really enjoyable. I have some suggestions that would make things better, though.

I think all of the weapons should display a weight. Trying to figure out what characters can still use a jump pack and carry a bigger weapon is quite tedious. Also, the characters should show their weight, or how much weight they can carry, or their jump pack's capability. Whichever is most accurate.

There's no reason the weapon's weight, accuracy, power and rate of fire couldn't be shown, is there? It would make it easier to choose between the different weapons if this was known when buying.

Fixed gun emplacements would be interesting for base defense.

As I suggested in another thread, if network support isn't going to happen, then how about multi-monitor, multi keyboard, and/or multi mouse support?

How does the healer unit work? I could never figure that out.. Humans bleeding to death, droids leaking out all of their electricity. It's so sad.

Pretty much all content you see now is subject to changed. The plan is to remove most, if not all, current content and re-build from the ground up.

1. Valid point.
2. That's what descriptions are for.
3. Already exists. Do a search.
4. Multi-mouse works with a few third party programs, try running a search. I'd assume multi-keyboard works the same way. As for LAN play, imagine trying to optimise every single particle onscreen with however many other players, all hundreds of times every second. That's a metric ♥♥♥♥ of data. Zalo's online mod works around that by cheating and only optimising player locations and bullets, but even then, it's suuuper laggy and slow, even with just two people. As for multi-screen, you can use teamviewer or somesort and do it that way.
5. The "Bleed-out" is meant to make super units killable. If coalition Heavies couldn't be wounded with AK fire, they'd be super overpowered. The Healer drone should in theory heal somebody at an average rate, equal or more than a medium wound and bleed. If that's not enough, you can a) go into the script and make it stronger or b) download a better healing unit. Again, do a search.

Those are good suggestions though, seeing as enough people already thought of them to make them realities. Welcome to DRLFF.
