The Prelude to Cortex Command Online.

Using a Processing server to handle all of the Cortex Command information,
I have successfully created a LAN version of Cortex Command, and the switch
from LAN to the Internet is fairly trivial.

It does work over LAN for those who are skeptical, but I used two windows for convenience.

For now, it only transfers the Positions and Velocities (for smooth moving groovin') once every quarter of a second,
But the joining and leaving logic is working. Four Players are supported for now (The rest of the people that join will get their own robot,
but they will be passive spectators in the environment, unable to affect anything.)

Stay tuned for further developments.

EDIT1:
I just played a little game with Darlos9D, who lives in Tallahasse (I'm in SoCal),
so I think the Internet thing works pretty well. Now to just get more things synced,
and I may be able to make a game out of it.

EDIT2: Video of me playing with Skiv and Mattress. No weapons yet, but HFlipped and ViewAngles work. Also, I fixed the actors, and I put a minimap on the server window, so you can have something to look at while hosting.

This is hilariously offtopic but where did you get that music? Couldn't find anything useful under dragonforce violin anywhere, and it's freaking awesome.

Obviously, you have more issues to sort out, but that's pretty awesome.
Are you using something that will port nicely, or is this going to be a method that is windows exclusive?

Also, I too want that music.

I don't get why some people seem so skeptical and accusatory...

Anyway, Zalo, awesome job!
Why were there nonexistant actors and stuff, though?

Also, while you make it work over internet, why not release the program to people can play over hamachi?
