I don't understand that really, or atleast it doesn't apply to me.
I don't code during the day, I only code when I can't sleep so yeah 12am+
I do get problems but the normal ones I get if I ever code during the day.

Is it just a fun saying or does it really apply to most of you?

Not me, I usually code during the day, sometimes at school. I usually hit obstacles, but they are simple mistakes and easy to fix.

By at school you mean your in college right?

For me, the demons come out after 12am and then a 24 hour period after that.

I don't seem to notice any major differences while modding past the witching hour. I seem to usually get the same amount of trouble trying to get things to work.
Although sometimes I could almost swear I hear CC itself evilly cackling as I try the eighth time to avoid the same error.

I too do most of my coding after 12, although I've not yet done any CC mods or anything.
However, when I do start coding CC mods, I'll probably be doing them after 12 as well.

Oddly enough I only really start getting into the "zone" when coding about that time and do most of my work after that 'till I realize it's half 3. I do often make a load of really stupid mistakes sometimes though usually caused by one wrong variable that I sometimes spend a couple of hours trying to fix (that could probably be easily fixed if I just stepped back and gave it a bit of thought). I don't really know what you mean by "the demons" either, running into more problems than usual? I think I would accredit that to having played/worked too much rather than being "time based" or whatever you want to call it.

Imagination spouts when you're sleepy, so you get a lot more ideas, however a lot more stupid mistakes come out of it.
