Post subject:  I can't get my gamepad to work.
I just got a Game Elements Recoil gamepad for $15 from Wal-Mart, and I can't get it to work, it is basicle a PC Playstation 2 controller, and comes with mouse and keyboard emulation, so I set it's buttons to emulate the corrosponding keys in CC, and when I try to move left or right with the D-Pad, I eaither point up or down. Also, in the controller bindings, there is no way to bind keys for player aim up, and player aim down.

Please Help.

I think Data said that right now only wireless Xbox 360 controllers will work, sorry.

Don't worry. Compatibility with pretty much every controller out there will be available on the next build. Shouldn't take too long for it to come out.

Well, if there was a way to make CC NOT assign default keys to my gamepad, It would work because I have Keyboard emulation.

So is there a way?

Wireless? 1st read your post before yo decide to submit it.



You will need a Xbox 360 wired controller to experience CC.

You won't need a Game pad in the next update because of the mouse support.

You should have bought a $40 360 controller instead because that is the only PC controller you will ever need.

I actually released a text file with code for the settings file which fixed that... but i dont know if it will work with many controllers other than a specific few.
