Pretty much. A PC's hardware and OS are way different than the PS3's. It would take specific coding and work and such to make the game run on a PS3. Plus it'd probably run like crap anyways, since CC can only use 1 of the PS3's multiple cores.

Alrighty then just wonderin'.It would be kinda cool to get it to run good.

Maybe. I know my old 40G can run Vista. But I don't think CC on your PS3 is worth having to install Vista.

Don't ps3's have multiple smaller cores and one really big one?

Anyway, not worth it. And why Vista?

You guys may or may not be morons.

HERE'S A RISKY WAY TO GET IT WORKING AND NOT HAVE TO INSTALL VISTA.
Step 1: install GRUB and linux on your PS3 (this will take some time and require you to know what you're doing): ALTERNATIVE AFTER SOME FURTHER READING:
http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/1305/ ... index.html DO THIS <- IT'LL INTEGRATE IT INTO YOUR SYSTEM THE WAY SONY INTENDED OR SOME ♥♥♥♥ BUT IT'S LIKE PPC ARCHITECTURE SO BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN.
Step 2: install CC and wine into your linux installation.
Step 3: Run CC with wine after installing all the dependencies.
Step 4: Post how fast it runs/if it was worth it. (guess: no)

I'm assuming RAM constraints will be an issue, or that you'll have difficulty getting wine working, or a million other issues.

I hate to say it, but if you were actually "decent" at computers you'd know exactly what I was talking about. As it is, I'm unsure if you should attempt installing linux on your PS3 at 13 anyway, you can really easily ♥♥♥♥ everything up.
If you want to, that article will walk you through installing a version of linux that I'm not sure if you'll be able to run wine on. It'd be worth a shot if you knew what you were doing, but as it is you'll likely just waste a lot of time and harm your playstation.

My one of my bros is a linux freak and actually got ubuntu working on there. (Disclaimer: Might be some other linux type.)
Probably could have run CC on there.

I thought the PS3 had a recent update to prevent booting up into Linux, however, since it was a way to pirate games.

I don't know if they actually ever got that far. Sony was worried about that possibility though.

There's no OtherOS option anymore; but you know, I'm surprised nobody mentioned this. You could achieve ESSENTIALLY the same result by doing the following: hook up your controller to your computer and configure it as a gamepad; won't be wireless, but it'll be the same thing, pretty much. Hell, now I wanna try that!

It also isn't too hard to hook a computer up to a TV.

Actually, if he's using 64 bit windows os, hooking up a ps3 controller is nigh impossible.

I use Windows 64bit, and it works fine; just took my brother around half an hour to get it to work properly. But it's been working fine ever since. Oh, the reason he did it was so he could play Super Mario Bros Crossover with the PS3 controller...
