Post landing craft question
Is it possible to get my landing crafts to land somewhere other than where the level begins, as in my current location? When I try to get one sent to where I am, it automatically scrolls over to where the level began.

It depends on the map. Some campaign maps limit the places you can drop troops to.

Thanks. Then how can I move a dropped turret or other non jet pack equipped item to where I need it on the battlefield?

Well, it's kind of like your using arrow keys, but instead, it's part of the regular letters of your keyboard.
W corresponds to up, S is for down, A is for left, and D is for right.
When you press the button corresponding to a direction, you'll accelerate in that direction.

I'm being flippant here, but dropships are really easy to fly.
Unless you've lost an engine, because then you might become f-- okay, nevermind, too cheesy.

Anyways, yeah, dropship. Fly over, open hatches, abduct the turret by putting the yellow dotted lines around it, probe it, telepathically communicate your findings, fly over to where you want it, and open the doors again to drop it in place.

I know its the WASD Key's, and i'm really used to it, but it's just that, uh...
I'm not used to such sliding before turning :c

EDIT: Oh wait dropship? oh yeah that's easy. Other ones are tough...

Thanks for the tips. I love the different ways to go about the campaign missions. I can't wait till there are more of them.

Yeah, rockets are hard, if you try to fly them horizontally at their top speed.
Just keep them at 30 maybe 45 degrees, and carefully move it to your destination.
Really, I could probably deliver said turret in less time then it takes you with a dropship.

Anyway, others are right: Just pilot the craft yourself and get used to the rocket controls.(Cruise missiles FTW.)

A good pilot can take a rocket through zombie cave.
True story.

That.

And a good pilot can in the meantime kill all zombies, with the afterburner that is.
Btw, has anyone else ever tried to get a rocket into the first signs cave AND kill all crabs with it? I just get stuck.

@dragonxp A good jetpack burst exploiter can do all of that, faster, without taking any damage to the actor or ship.

But yes, rockets can be put to great use with a high skill, as they are very maneuverable, with their thrusters and bursting abilities.

Dropships are less dexterous, since they're unstable and can only slowly accelerate in basic directions, instead of rotate and flip and stuff. But they can be easier to fly, and are definitely the better choice when you're needing move a turret around.
