Im not sure if im posting where I should sorry moderators if i did it wrong. *please move the tread if this is the wrong forum* now i bring to you two quick questions: 1. Does anyone has a working copy of ASC mod (when i mean working i mean that when you star any CC mode [Campaing,Skirmish] the screen doesn't go all black and freezes). 2.Since im kind of new i want to know is -Numgun's- Mod Ballistic weapons: Mercenaries is a [WIP] or it was deleted or what if anyone has a copy can you please give it to me? Thank in advance to anyone who gives information about this. Thanks Data for the amazing game. Thanks every Game developer/mod maker/fans on forums. |

I dunno what the ASC mod is but Numgun ragequitted and took all his toys with him. So no AAL or other numgun's mods anymore around here. |

I have BW from Numgun but there was a huge blowup about not distributing his mods without his permission so....

Asc is a completely different mod. What you must do is find the things that should appear in the buy menu - that is: entries with buyable = 1 underneath them. Then, looking through those blocks find the lines named PresetName or (since this is a fairly old mod) InstanceName. Next to these bits, after the equals sign is the name the game will attempt to show on the buy menu. The problem is that in attempting to divide the name across lines the game doesn't take into account single words which are longer than 11 letters long. You'll have to add a space somewhere in there to break up these long words to make the mod work correctly. Note that the game only considers spaces a good place to split the name - hyphens or other symbols are not sufficient. |
