you can't turn it off. Just skip it with [space]. Edit: Well, I didn't think he wanted to instantly load up a skimish/mission. |

You really need to stop posting in threads just for the sake of posting, especially when you are giving inaccurate or only partially correct information. To the original question: "How can I turn off the Intro?" The real answer is this: Open up Settings.ini found in your Cortex Command/Base.rte folder and find this: Code: PlayIntro = 1 and change it to Code: PlayIntro = 0 This will turn off the intro entirely and immediately load up whatever level you have set under: Code: DefaultActivityType = GAScripted DefaultActivityName = Zombie Cave This is also found in the same Settings.ini file. If you ,however, just want to be able to skip the intro and not turn it off, then yes pressing space will suffice. |

Can so! But you skip the menu too. In settings.ini (make a backup please) Find the part of the line on the left of the equals sign, the value to the right is what you should set. PlayIntro = 0 //This makes it skip the intro... and the menu. I do a lot of testing for my own stuff, so I have the following lines set: DefaultActivityType = GAScripted DefaultActivityName = Testing Grounds // You don't have this level, change it to some level you want. Hope that helps. EDIT: ARGH I was NINJA'D. Well, LFoW did a better job explaining, so that's cool too. |
