Now, you played CC for long and have no other ideas what to do? The decision is simple: make it more challenging yourself. But is it fun to play it alone? No and no. That's why i dare announce this challenge topic. The rules are simple - as long as there are interested ones I give tasks weekly. They will vary from hard to impossible and involve many mods and missions, not vanilla only. For each week different rule set will be given, and at the and of it I(hopefully) will announce the winner. It's just for some element of a forum challenge, no gifts, really. General rules (these will only change if you want them to): 1. No cheating! 2. When you post the reply which you want to be in a countable list write the first line in BIG letters so that everyone can find it. 3. Now about your post a) If you make a video it's great, anyone also will see that there was no cheat, and it will give you +5 points (which is the same as getting +50. Yes, i know it's much, but making video of some levels is sooo troublesome) b) Plenty of pictures are also good, +2 points, +3 if they are really good. A pic of WIN is obligatory. c) Of course your own story of the mission. Depending on how good it is it is worth 1-4 points. d) Your reply on difficulty - it will affect the next mission. e) Anything you want to, just hope you know the limit.. And for the first try I will announce... MAGINOT DROPSHIP MASSACRE Well, easy to guess it is maginot with dropships. RULES: 1. You can only buy first 3 craft. Rocket, rocket MK2, Drop Ship Mk1. Nothing more. 2. You can NOT shoot with your actors, except the brainbot. 3. Still, you can move them, drop their weapon or ram into enemies. 4. You can(and, actually have to) use dropships in any way. Even as diggers if you want to. Rules for counting the winner = kills/deaths+1/100 of remaining money + bonuses. +15 for each soldier alive, +20 if at 100, +40 if evacuated. +0.5 for each brainbot hp remaining.(so make the pic) Let the challenge begin! Hope you’ll like it. Next challenge will be in one of custom missions if I’ll get the permission. P.S. Please, don't cheat. It will kill most of the fun for you. |

I assume when you say "Coalition Craft" you mean the non-factioned Rockets and DS. |

Well, i know that only dropship is the one belonging to coalition(or close to it...), but generally you are right, will change right now. It is beatable btw. |

The dropship isn't remotely coalition, it's a rusty Whitebot craft. |

Really? o_O it feels weird for me, always felt like it was belonging there... Anyway, my example of mission report is on the way. Need only to compress pics to fit here... |

Massacre report Well, it turned out easier then i expected... On that sunny day some of my guys hid inside the bunker, to protect from sun maybe. Than dunnies started flowing in, and tradestar agreed only to send me dropships. Really, a bad day. But wait, dropship is a proud bird, and it never looks up! So, attacking it from ahigh is an idea... Still, as time went on i had to fought for my life harder and harder... Good thing it is that dummies don't know how to destroy doors. But their force went on, and i had to evacuate, leaving my man behind. I even ordered one to give me his gun. After some dodgy time i managed to escape the bunker and load into rocket. And the rocket went up, up in the sky. That was a hard day. Now i shall go and have a shower. 2 guys were left behind, poor fellows. Well, this is generally it. My points will be: 218/25+516/100+69*0.5+20+15+20 for pics+10 for story=113.38, correct me is i miscalculated. Also, new bonus. +40 for evacuated ones(not brainbot). I just cannot leave them all dying there. P.S. Please, tell me a good place to host images, i know only photobucket and do not like it. |

Heh, good times with Maginot. That mission is ridiculously hard, I finally beat it by stationing Coalition Heavies with YAK47s at all the entrances, with 4 extras inside to replace dead ones. After that, I dug a tunnel on the right side of the screen, leading to the concrete roof of the brain room. Once they touch that roof, it'll let you move your brain, regardless of how far into your fort they are. |

It's even harder, and thus it is more fun. |

I'm going to record a video of my attempt. Expect great things. EDIT: I tried, but my brain bot was pinned, and only became un-pinned after (what felt like) 40 minutes. At that point I was boned. I would post the video but its about an hour long. |

Also, it seems like evacuation happends after 200 kills. And there really is no need to post here a review, it is just for fun. |

Here's another challenge... -Ninja Challenge. The mission: Assassination. The Actor: Darkstorm Shinobi. The Weapon: only one pistol and the melee. -Astro speedrun. How fast can you complete the Astro mission? -Astro no-casualty run. Order as many actors you'd like, but all of them must be alive at the end. -Astro solid snaking run. With your original brainbot, order just one gun. Use that, and the brainbot, to complete the mission. HARD MODE: You still have 100% health (didn't get shot or use medipacks) |

HARD MODE: You still have 100% health (didn't get shot or use medipacks) Hey, it's my topic so pm if you want some new Anyways, the last one wasn't fun so I introduce a new one BRAINBOT AND PISTOL TARTARUS Well, you know the drill. You have a pistol and braibot... And another pistol and brainbot... And another... Everything is simple - get this http://www.box.net/shared/gabr1i3asp into Tartarus.rte\Scenes\Scripts. It's a bit modified, so if you changed something you can just copy the code No cheating of course, just win this. Oh, and you might find it useful to steal behemoth shotgun, since you have no diggers. |

The Maginot challenges are great, gonna have to try some. Definitely my favorite map, a fun challenge is to just try beating it with only your starting units. Anyone know any other good defense style custom missions? |
